Physical Therapy and Massage Therapy in Los Angeles
“I am 27 years old and before seeing Vivian I was on my way to using a cane by the age of 50. It's been seven years since my ACL surgery and I was never really able to get back to being normal in sports or even daily living such as walking downstairs normally. I reinjured my knee a year ago to the point that my doctor told me I can no longer run and jump ever again. My doctor's explanation was that certain people don't recover normally. And the doctors that I have seen are well known orthopedic surgeons who have worked on olympic athletes and have won national awards. I have seen a few physical therapists, all with good reputations, but physical therapy was always frustrating because I was never able to make any real progress. And only in my first visit with Vivian she was able to immediately spot fundamental problems which were acting barriers in my rehabilitation. None of which all my previous doctors or physical therapists were able to spot. Only if I had found out about citysearch sooner! She truly is Wonder Woman, literally...You'll know what I mean after your first visit. =)”

“Dear Vivian: I so wanted you to know I am in awe of your skills. I was feeling simply miserable on the day I saw you. Only 24 hours had passed since a rotten so-and-so had plowed into me and my Corolla. Chip and I had planned to go to Las Vegas for a long weekend and I was very seriously considering cancelling the trip. I was in fear of being stuck in the car for the 5 hour drive that was ahead of me the next day. The work you did with me was remarkable. I felt completely taken care of and secure in knowing you were doing what would help. And it did help - tremendously. The pain in my lower back was relieved by your work on my hip. And the pain in my neck and shoulders vastly lessened by your adjustments and treatments in that area. Not only was the trip largely pain free, it was actually pleasant and relaxing; especially so since Chip drove the whole way. I could sit comfortably and enjoy the good music he had brought along for the journey. The trip back to Los Angeles three days later was just as easy as the trip out. I was in such a good mood, feeling so well, that even losing at the tables didn’t dampen by spirit! It has been 8 days since the accident. I am still sore but can’t even imagine what I would feel like if I hadn’t been to you the day after I was hit. I am confident that I am well on the way to doing cartwheels. (Not that I had been doing those on a daily basis – but wonderful to feel I can if required.) Many, many thanks,”

“I am so impressed with Vivian’s ability to spot the source of a physical problem and know just how to treat it in the fewest number of visits. I especially appreciate her keen awareness of the human body and her dedication in making sure that I follow through with her advice on my posture and body alignment. She’s my very own Jewish mother wrapped up in a healing professional.”

“I had a great experience with PTPT, it's a super relaxed, open atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. I'd never been to physical therapy before and was pretty nervous about it, but I was diagnosed with patello femoral syndrome and referred to a random HMO therapist. I decided to see Vivian instead, having found her through research of my own. She worked very quickly on my leg and then adjusted my spine and back, as well...wasn't expecting that, as I've never had any chiropractic-type work done either. Well, here I am almost a week later, and my knee doesn't hurt, I can walk, I can kneel, and I can stand up from sitting on the floor without using my hands to push myself up. Haven't done that move since Pilates class. Happy side benefit is my back isn't hurting anymore...whatever she did fixed years of working at computers and the two or three times I've been rear-ended on the freeway. Thanks Vivian, I'll be back! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.”

“Vivian has the personality and experience to make you want to recover. A pleasure to be treated and the results were amazing. I would happily recommend PTPT to anyone. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the treatment rooms and if you're a dog lover, there's another plus! Don't just take my word for it. Have an accident! Pay her a visit!”

“I first went to see Vivian at Prevent The Pain Therapy in the fall of 2004 with significant lower back pain that stemmed from two badly diseased lumbar discs. I had already had a micro-discectomy the year before which didn't help and I was preparing to have the new disc replacement surgery in the spring of 2005. My problem was severely mechanical. I had examined all the options and was pretty sure that I was not going to be fixed by therapy, so I'm not going to tell you that Vivian fixed me or saved me from surgery. I imagine she would be able to do that for many with back problems, but mine was significantly more complicated. What I will tell you is that her methods and approach were perfect. She got me strong and ready for the much needed surgery. I was also taught a new way to think about my spine, back and the core muscles in and around the abdomen while being given very specific techniques and exercises to strengthen my back and correct my posture. These exercises, approaches and treatments are what got me strong enough -- both mentally and physically -- to be ready for the surgery. I implemented much of what I was taught following the surgery and due in part to her help, at 6 months post operative, I am feeling better than I have in five years. Thanks, Vivian to you and PTPT.”

“This was a letter I just sent my lawyer: Out of my frustration of having almost constant pain since my accident, even after the epidural procedure, I’m not getting any relief. So, I’ve done some research of my own and came across a clinic called Prevent The Pain Therapy, Inc. I’ve made an appointment with them on August 23, 2007 and received a treatment from Ms. Vivian Eisenstadt, who is an Orthopedic Certified Specialist. I’ve received more benefit from this one session than the entire time of PT in the past since the accident. . I feel this will be a better solution than performing a surgical procedure. Thus, I’m hoping that I could receive a further doctor's recommendation to continue my Physical Therapy at this location. I’m convinced of its therapeutic values and I would even like to further suggest you refer some of your patients to this location rather than referring them to some useless therapy. In addition, I’m going to require more time to produce the evidence of my previous financial and business records. I will do my best to send them out to you soon. Thank you for your help and look forward to your reply. You can find more information about Prevent The Pain Therapy at: www.preventthepain.com Sincerely, Jerry H Yoon”
