Physical Therapy and Massage Therapy in Los Angeles
“I do not know where to begin about the therapy treatment I received from Vivian and her staff. Everyone on her staff melts together like they have been knowing each other since birth. The treatment I received made me feel as though I should have been here ten years ago when I first injured myself while working. I feel the treatment I received would have saved the worker's compensation some money by me not having the surgeries I did have. The idea of learning that to walk correctly by holding the stomach muscles, tightening up the buttocks and walking with the alignment of my shoulders made the pain go away. The exercise in Pilates and stretching every part of my muscles made a difference in the level of my pain decreasing. The massages were great also, more manipulations than I have ever received from any physical therapist just great in my recovery from pain. I needed a whole month with this group but five days told me a lot about myself and how I could reduce the pain with me. I believe if you are a person who really wants to get rid of the pain go to Prevent The Pain Therapy. The pain you receive during therapy is nothing like the feel of no pain after visiting this group of fine people.”
Belinda Jenkins

“I've been to a lot of physical therapists, and it doesn't get any better than PTPT. Vivian truly cares about her patients. Since I've started seeing her I've cut back on my pain medication by over 75%. I feel like a new person with a new body! It's wonderful. Her massage therapists are fabulous too.”
Teal Sherer

“Vivian is very intense and very effective. Every other PT place I have used was like kindergarden compared to PTPT. Vivian uses a very personal approach to her treatment and is highly specific about what needs to be done in and out of her office as far as exercises and follow-up. She also offers massage and alternative treatments in addition to traditional methods. Vivian truly educated me so I can literally prevent the pain!”

“I have been in and out of physical therapy, acupuncture, doctors, chiropractors…trying to help my chronic headaches. Vivian is a compassionate; tell it like it is, woman who gives so much more than her PT skills. She has made me aware of not just the physical but the emotional habits that are causing my pain. So I can attack the problem form all sides. For the first time I have hope that one day I will be headache free and a stronger person!”
Kelly Musson

“I recommend Vivian to all my friends whether they are in pain or not! Being an avid cyclist, whenever I have injured myself on the road and been in pain for weeks, on numerous occasions I buckle and come to PTPT where Vivian diagnoses and fixes me with speed and precision. With her vast knowledge of the human body, most of the time she eliminates my pain in one visit by finding the originating cause and "does what she does". She has helped me find "lost" muscles and reviews my yoga exercises so I am doing them correctly and mindfully. The Southland is lucky to have PTPT around (I travel from Redondo Beach to see her).”
David Hochman

“The Prevent The Pain Clinic itself is a place for physical therapy, Pilates, manual therapy, laser light therapy, sports rehabilitation and just a cool place to hang out and meet really really interesting people. I didn't want to leave the place - ever.... Vivian, the owner and one of the resident healers - made me leave! (kidding) RUN. Call for an appointment. HURRY! My Best,”
Jodi Seidler

“Vivian is an "iron fist with a velvet glove"! She gets to the root of your problem and corrects it. You may not always like what you hear or the pain of healing initially but afterwards, you are extremeful grateful and delighted with the results. She is truly gifted with healing hands and after going to many other physical therapists, I have finally found one that has cured me. Thanks, Viv! You Rock!”

"LA Today" March, 2008

"I went to Prevent The Pain Therapy (PTPT) after meeting the owner Vivian Eisenstadt at an organic cooking class. She was vivacious, interesting and she told me about her healing work. She described it as "A naturalistic approach to scientific methods". I was confused and cynical. She invited me to her studio and I decided to give it a shot. What's the harm? It could only do well for me, right? I was so right. Walking into Vivian's studio, I was greeted by a very handsome assistant and two adorable Min Pins. Her studio is a house and had a very amazing feeling of comfort and serenity. The first part of my treatment was experiencing the Turbosonic Whole Body Vibration Machine..."

"Advance Magazine for Rehabilitation" May, 2008

"Vibration therapy gives aging baby boomers another option in the fight to stay fit. Patients are staying more active into their older years, but they're also getting frailer due to basic biological processes that occur with normal aging. This is where whole body vibration (WBV) comes in as a tremendous asset to your practice. WBV was originally developed for Russian cosmonauts so that they wouldn't lose muscle strength or bone density while away from the Earth's atmosphere, which enabled them to stay in space longer. For baby boomers, WBV can make a significant difference by reducing the severity of symptoms, speeding recovery from illness and injury, and providing a better overall state of wellness."

"Whole body vibration brings a new buzz to routine rehab. Clinicians are always looking for ancillary methods to help deliver care to patients and send them on the road to recovery. Modern technology can provide multi-system answers to many issues and deliver new tools to facilitate recovery in patients who have plateaued. Recently, many rehab clinicians have started investigating the secrets of whole body vibration (WBV), in which patients stand on a platform that provides gentle to challenging constant vibration that reverberates through the body.
