Physical Therapy and Massage Therapy in Los Angeles
“Dr. Mancherian, Thank you so much for the referrals to Vivian. She is the kookiest person I have ever met (which is a compliment) and she popped my ankle back into alignment. She also called me the most uptight, stressed out person (I was probably oozing negative energy all over her office), but I certainly appreciate her candor. Thanks - I'm seeing her again tomorrow so she can get me aligned for my marathon on Sunday! I posted a few days ago online asking for help with finding a doctor or PT who could help with my ankle pain. I have been going to PT for months and got a cortisone injection from a doctor and nothing helped. Another peachheader referred me to Vivian Eisenstadt at Prevent The Pain Therapy who popped my ankle back into place and relieved my pain in ONE SESSION - which the orthopedic doc and last PT never did over the course of months. Thank you for the referral, and I highly recommend her to anyone who has any kind of pain. Her approach is unorthodox, but she knows her stuff. I would recommend her highly to anyone with any chronic problems. ”

“I've been experiencing back pain since my car accident in 1996. It wasn't until I came to Vivian that I began to have relief. She makes the pain go away and offers tips and tricks to keep it at bay. She's passionate about her work and she has an amazing energy; she truly wants to heal the hurt. I have referred her to a number of my friends who in turn have had amazing results.”

“Vivian Eisenstadt has worked wonders on my back. She has allowed me to enjoy the last few precious months of my pregnancy. I was suffering from a severe nerve pain in my back as a result of pregnancy. I was in so much pain I could barely walk. I tried yoga, stretching, and exercise none of which helped. Desperate, I asked my OBGYN for help. He referred me to Cedars-Sinai Spinal Institute. The first doctor said I was pregnant and there was nothing they could do - that I would just have to deal with it until the pregnancy ended because I couldn't take drugs or get epidurals. I refused to give in and argued for a solution. He brought another doctor into the patient room, Dr. Berkeley. After a short discussion, Dr. Berkeley referred me to a Physical Therapist, PTPT run by Vivian Eisenstadt. Thank god for that stroke of luck. After a few sessions with Vivian, I can now walk completely pain free! She is quick, direct and efficient in her diagnosis. I cannot tell you how grateful and relived I am to spend the last few months of my pregnancy without constant pain. I can now enjoy these last few weeks of pregnancy and send loving peace to my baby. Vivian is a godsend.”

“I was hesitant to step up to the plate and get my shoulder treated with physical therapy, but the pain became too intense to ignore. In my first session with Vivian, she demonstrated how much stress I was storing in my upper body and she set me on a program to stretch, limber up and loosen up. The pain was diminishing and our work continued with several therapies and some work with the pilates machines. Then she started on my neck tension. We've had four sessions so far. The shoulder pain is way way down, I already started carrying myself differently. And a couple days ago, while I was shaving, I noticed that my neck is so much more limber, I can see parts of my jawline and sideburns that I could never see before! Vivian knows her stuff - and she is a naturally gifted healer.”

“I came to Vivian after tearing my hamstring and not wanting to enter the slow Kaiser system. I was afraid I wouldn’t play softball again, walk or get back to my normal activities. Not only did Vivian diagnose specifically what my injury was, but within 2 treatments/2 weeks with a good home program I was back on the ball field (yes- she did tell me I did it too soon, but I used a pinch runner) and am able to use my leg for working and daily activities. A possible nightmare was turned into a safe place to recover with guidance, ease and satisfied results. I'd recommend her to anyone and if your insurance doesn’t cover her - see her anyway - she is worth the time.”

“I came to Prevent The Pain as I was done with Chiropractors bleeding me for insurance and co-payments. I was initially skeptical, and cautious. After my initial consult, I was hooked! Vivian looked me over, and knew exactly what I needeed. My posture sucked, I walked wrong, the chronic pain in my back was a result of this, and until I KNEW what the problem was, there was no way to realize that I could truly be pain-free. After a few sessions, I felt 1000% better. She enabled me to be more in-tune with my body, and to know what to do and not to do. I am very grateful that she helped me with finding out the cause of my discomfort and pain, and treated that, instead of trying to fit me into a cookie-cutter program that helped pad her pocket book, and didn't really help me at all. She cares, and will help you! On a scale of 1 to 10, Prevent The Pain is a 20! I'm a new person since I saw her, and can't thank her enough!”
