Physical Therapy and Massage Therapy in Los Angeles
“Hi Viv, you know you are The One!!! You have helped me so tremendously on so many different levels, my hip has never hurt again after you worked on it for a little while. Wow, it took seven years to find you! Now you will help me heal after the shoulder surgery, looking forward to working with you. YOU ARE THE BEST!”

“I had a great experience with PTPT, it's a super relaxed, open atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. I'd never been to physical therapy before and was pretty nervous about it, but I was diagnosed with patello femoral syndrome and referred to a random HMO therapist. I decided to see Vivian instead, having found her through research of my own. She worked very quickly on my leg and then adjusted my spine and back, as well...wasn't expecting that, as I've never had any chiropractic-type work done either. Well, here I am almost a week later, and my knee doesn't hurt, I can walk, I can kneel, and I can stand up from sitting on the floor without using my hands to push myself up. Haven't done that move since Pilates class. Happy side benefit is my back isn't hurting anymore...whatever she did fixed years of working at computers and the two or three times I've been rear-ended on the freeway. Thanks Vivian, I'll be back! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.”

“Having been to other physical therapists,(for similar problems) I have to say this is somewhat beyond physical therapy. As opposed to simply being adjusted or massaged and receiving exercises which are straight out of the standard physical therapy playbook (which has been my experience in the past), Vivian has provided me with an approach that addresses pain and its sources in a more holistic way. She has dealt with the back and neck pain I've experienced as something symptomatic and treatable in many different ways (adjustment and massage being only a few). She has helped me to reassess how I have treated my body over my lifetime, as well as how little I have understood it up till now. I am being retrained in where I focus my energies in my posture and this alone has been a revelation. It has been a lot of work, but well worth the effort and the results speak for themselves. I can't believe how much better I've been feeling and how improved my posture has become since I started this process. The people who work there are all great and some of the best masseuses I've experienced (as well as the alphabioticist). Suffice it to say, I can recommend Vivian without any reservation whatsoever!”

“Dr. Mancherian, Thank you so much for the referrals to Vivian. She is the kookiest person I have ever met (which is a compliment) and she popped my ankle back into alignment. She also called me the most uptight, stressed out person (I was probably oozing negative energy all over her office), but I certainly appreciate her candor. Thanks - I'm seeing her again tomorrow so she can get me aligned for my marathon on Sunday! I posted a few days ago online asking for help with finding a doctor or PT who could help with my ankle pain. I have been going to PT for months and got a cortisone injection from a doctor and nothing helped. Another peachheader referred me to Vivian Eisenstadt at Prevent The Pain Therapy who popped my ankle back into place and relieved my pain in ONE SESSION - which the orthopedic doc and last PT never did over the course of months. Thank you for the referral, and I highly recommend her to anyone who has any kind of pain. Her approach is unorthodox, but she knows her stuff. I would recommend her highly to anyone with any chronic problems. ”

“I have suffered from chronic back pain for nearly 25 years. I would suffer periodic episodes which left me barely able to walk, enduring weeks where the slightest wrong movement could reduce me near tears. Recuperation consisted of massage, rest, and, mostly, time. After the acute pain subsided, and with enough time, it would return to a state of insidious discomfort that would nag just below the surface, waiting for another episode opportunity. My massage therapist, who told me that she couldn't cure me, introduced me to Vivian. I was in a great deal of pain at the time, and Vivian nursed me back to normal in just a few weeks. She used a combination of therapies, one of which was her good humor, but warned that while I had passed through the most difficult portion of the recovery process, I would need to continue physical therapy and maintain a homework schedule to ultimately eliminate the pain. I didn't. And, sure enough, months later after a long plane ride to Europe, the pain returned. This time it was a series of episodes, each one more painful than the previous. Finally, after feeling ill with pain, I called Vivian again. I arrived in the office and Vivian went to work. Between the stim, infrared, massage, traction, manual mobilization, specific exercises and slow stretching, Vivian and her team coaxed me back to health. This time she was even more emphatic in her admonition to do my homework, continue to train muscles that were necessary to help prevent a recurrence, and to stretch properly. I'm back to an active lifestyle and, for the moment, pain free. I intend to stay that way by following the personalized plan Vivian has structured for me. I'm so grateful for her knowledge, her caring nature, and the understanding she brings to the practice of healing. Viva Vivian!”

“PTPT IS THE PLACE TO GO FOR PHYSICAL THERAPY! VIVIAN IS AN AMAZING THERAPIST AND SHE KNOWS THE BODY VERY WELL. A PLUS IS THAT SHE IS INCREDIBLY INSIGHTFUL AND IS NOT AFRAID TO SHARE HER INSIGHTS AS THEY RELATE TO ONE'S CONDITION. I CAME TO PTPT AFTER A SERIOUS AUTO ACCIDENT AND COULD NOT WALK VERY WELL AND WAS IN PAIN. I WAS CONSISTENT WITH MY THERAPY AND WITHIN A FEW SHORT WEEKS I BEGAN TO NOTICE HOW MUCH BETTER I WAS FEELING AND WALKING. AFTER 3 MONTHS OF SERIOUS THERAPY, I WAS CLOSE TO BEING BACK TO HOW MY BODY WAS BEFORE THE ACCIDENT. HER OFFICE MANAGER, MARVIN, IS FANTASTIC! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PTPT TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS PHYSICAL THERAPY. YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU CHOSE THIS EXCEPTIONAL PHYSICAL THERAPY PLACE OF HEALING.”
